I think it’s interesting that the last guy places the Queer guy not fragile like flower fragile like a bomb shirt. They didn’t know back then about the long term effects. If they had known, I bet they would not have put them so close to the blast site. We did all kinds of stuff back in the day that turned out to be pretty destructive long term. But we could t have known that at the time. Back then they used to smoke cigarettes in hospitals and in airplanes. Expose themselves to asbestos with no mask and the whole list of stuff we don’t do today. No way to know for sure if that’s what caused a lot of them getting cancer. John Worley correct, it would have ended differently. We would all be speaking German right now.
